Before You Decide To Cheat On Them, Read This

I’ve never understood why people cheat. It’s a foreign concept to me. I could never imagine myself cheating on a significant other. If I’m with a person, he’s all I want. I would never, ever, in a million years think about kissing, touching, or being with anyone else other than him.

If I’m with someone, I’m with them for a reason.

What’s the point of cheating?

Do you care about the person you’re with? Do you love them? Are you in love with them? If so, then why would you want to hurt them? Why would you want to go behind their backs and be with someone else?

If you don’t feel anything towards the person you are in a relationship with, then why are you with them in the first place? Is it because you’re comfortable and although you desire other people, you still want someone to come home to at the end of the day? Someone you know actually cares and loves you? If so, then you are being utterly selfish.

What if that was you?

What if you were so in love and head over heels for someone.

So in love that you would do anything for that person. They made you weak in the knees. You thought about them every second of every day.

You felt like you could never get enough of them.

You want to marry this person, or be with this person forever (whatever that means).

But here’s the catch, that person doesn’t feel the same way about you. Of course, you don’t know that. They’re keeping it from you. They pretend they love you and they pretend they care, which makes you fall even harder and harder.

But while you’re not around, they’re cheating on you with one, two, or maybe even ten other people.

And then you find out.

Wouldn’t feel so great, would it?

If you’re telling yourself that you wouldn’t care or that it wouldn’t effect you, you’re lying.

Man up and accept that what you’re doing is wrong.

Don’t be that guy or that girl.

If you don’t love the person you’re with enough to commit to only them, set them free. Don’t drag them along for your enjoyment.

We all have feelings.

We’re not here for enjoyment of others. We’re not here to be used by others. We’re not here to someone’s second option.

We are a first priority. And if you are unable to follow through with making us a first priority, let us go.

Let us be free.

And then you’re free to do whatever the hell your little bitter heart desires to do.
